I realized today that there is A LOT of brain power in my cohort.  We have a math teacher, a recursion expert, and a PHP programmer.  Some of the other phases are noticing that the Tiger Swallowtails are solving difficult problems quickly.

A few people solved Sudoku the first day, and some also solved the Samuel Beckett problem in the weekend.  UNBELIEVABLE!!!  10 years from now I’m going to look back and say I studied with some of the best software engineering minds of the decade.  CHANGE THE WORLD!!

Day 4&5 were pretty much a blur.  I haven’t left Dev Bootcamp before midnight.  I LOVE IT HERE!!  If only I didn’t have to sleep and eat, I could solve problems with code all day.

I’m still figuring out recursion, but it doesn’t seem tangible to me.  Even when I draw recursion tree it takes me a moment to abstract how the computer processes the recursion.
