Our instructors Zee and Strand are hands on and easily available.  

The group project we chose is a discussion application (similar to Reddit).  We will be building the web application from scratch using a skeleton version of the Sinatra framework.  This means using the Sinatra framework without the Sinatra-ActiveRecord library/gem (i.e. no RakeFile).  

My group of 4 will be working on this for most of the week until 7pm everyday.  After that we split up and work on side projects that peak our interest. 

I’m interested in playing with the Echonest API and building some music-tech apps.  Echonest is a music intelligence platform with all kinds of musical data to build smart music apps.

It seems Dev Bootcamp has changed my approach to learning.  I am embracing the confusion and attacking new material.  Here I come environmental variables and ActiveRecord::Migrator!
