I graduated Dev Bootcamp last friday and I’m back in Denver. It’s been a week since I coded and I’m feeling very antsy. I reached out for help early this morning on my next course of action. In DBC fashion, I had responses within an hour.
This is what I’ve been advised to do:
- Redo factorial, fizzbuzz, fibonacci, times table, anagram, find primes, etc. Then do a faux-whiteboarding of those problems where you write out the psuedo code or the actual code on paper without looking at your .rb file.
- Make sure you understand the RSpec/BDD/TDD flow used in the Hartl tutorial.
- Read Design Patterns in Ruby.
- Build something you’re interested in (Learning Tracker), learn and use Backbone.js
Sounds like a plan. Let’s get it done.
